Workbench - 6066 French Infantry

Plastic Soldier Review: http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.asp?manu=ITA&code=6066

Napoleon Bonaparte, (15 August 1769 – 5 May 1821)

The Battle of Waterloo was fought on 18th June 1815 between the British, Germans, Belgians, Dutch and Prussians against the French Grande Armée.

The Duke of Wellington marshalled the british with Marshal Blucher (Prussians) and the Prince of Orange against the Emperor Napoleon. There were 23,000 British troops with 44,000 allied troops and 160 guns against 74,000 French troops and 250 guns. The British, Germans, Belgians, Dutch and Prussians were the eventual winners.

Recreating this battle scene is a favourite past time. I use 1/72 models currently the French Infantry, French Artillery have been painted and mounted and the Austrian Infantry are a work in progress.
